Fitness is not accomplished by running on a treadmill or performing the same exercise routine day after day at Planet Fatness or waiting in line for the machine you want to use, it is achieved by the use of constantly varied functional movements that are performed at HIGH Intensity!! It requires Commitment! Through this, you can acquire a healthier, more toned body, increased strength, power, balance and agility, flexibility,endurance, and confidence!

In high school I was as UN-athletic as you could possibly get. A couple years later down the road, I signed up to a local gym simply because I had put on a little chub. Starting off slowly, not knowing at all what I was doing, I became more interested in becoming fit, or what I thought was fit at that time. After a few years of floating around to different gyms, I decided to go for a PT Cert, which I did. I then trained a couple clients privately and enjoyed it but not as much as I thought. It wasn’t until I found CrossFit that everything clicked. I had never done any kind of workout like it. It was the hardest, most intense, satisfying workout I had ever done ~ in 10 minutes! My mind was blown and I was hooked. About 4 months later, My father and I went to CrossFit Montclair for our Level 1 Cert. BEST thing I have ever done!

There is not one thing that I do not like about CrossFit. My body can do things that I never thought possible, I’m stronger (DeadLift PR is over 200lbs), leaner (body fat is the lowest ever! under 10%) and more confident than ever before. This is the cycle – You just keep getting better- EVERY DAY! Who wouldn’t want that??!

I recently entered and placed in the Muscle Beach Competition on August 7th, 2010. Going into this competition I had a different goal in mind. I wanted to prove that with using CrossFit and healthy nutrition, I could transform my body to look just as good or even better than my competitors.
On May 17th I went to it, I altered my diet to eating 6 meals a day using a modified Paleo plan and kept with my normal CrossFit training (average workout is 20 minutes a day – about 5 days a week). By August 1st I was ready, looking and FEELING the best I ever have in my life! In a little over 2 months, I had lost about 8lbs and quite a bit of body fat and gained some nice muscle, the healthiest way possible!

I am confident to say that I have reached the next level, the next level of fitness that I had been chasing for years!
I feel AMAZING and You can too! Contrary to other beliefs, you do NOT need to spend hours a day in the gym or stick to a crazy, BORING diet.
